This should be a cool little venue. When I drop off the pieces, they were building wood pallet walls. More galleries and alternative spaces should have raw images like this venue. This Friday @7.

Two finished pieces out of the studio. I pretty please with the end result. The exploration of colors was key throughout this process. Layers latex paint of bright pastel colors, along with polyurethane, modeling paste, and acrylic on vinyl material.

Work begins.

New SPACE!

So I’m sorry I haven’t been in here showing you folks lovely pieces. Life and looking for a studio took up my time. Well, I promise to stay active on my bloggy.

I found a warehouse space in the town of Opa-Locka (in northern Miami). 1000sqft, about 18ft ceiling, with no air condition. Its been two months now and I’m loving it. This summer will be fun….produce, produce, produce.

Yuval selected me to show work for a theme show. “MLCONIC” Miami’s greatest icons seen through artist’s eyes. He gave a piece of plexi-glass which made the interest even better. I present: ‘Viaje a traves de la democracia’ (the journey through democracy).
